During the end of September 8 cadets did there bronze D of E award. We were split up into two groups of 4 in my group we started to walk fine until we came to the hills when it started to rain, bout 30-60 minutes after that we got to our first checkpoint where we had a break and showed Mr Smith where we ware. Then we took a barren on the map then began walking again…

But when we were coming up to the camp site we saw the other group and caught up with them and made our way down to the camp site where we stayed the night and every one cooked something to eat.

The next day we sorted our route out on the map and we walked through a farm again, a small wood and over a load of fields when we came to a bridge over a muddy brook where a cadet fell in from tripping over a gap in the bridge but the cadet was fine. After we made our way along a long road until we reached the minibus where Mr Smith was waiting for us that was the end of the 15 mile walk we were all whipped out .
