When I arrived at RAF Cosford with cwo Wild and cdt Lane. We were very nervous about the cross country plus we didn’t know what was installed for us, all we knew was that it was a 3 mile run. And when we walked around the corner their was cadets from different squadrons that attended that morning doing cross country, but first we hat to get into our age categories so we were all split up. Soon the under 15’s were off and 25 minutes later cdt Lane sprinted through the finishing line, and got his time recorded, coming 3rd.

It was soon cwo Wild’s turn to run the 3 miles, and finishing with a red face but in 3rd place. Then it was my turn to run the under, 17’s but I had missed the briefing but made it to the start line just in time to set of for the 3 miles of cross country run. After 25 minutes had gone by and I was still jogging until I made it to the finish and I came in a shocking 35th place .

We had the final parade where the awards were handed out, which was followed by a 10 minute walk up to the museum before we have lunch, then we were off home to relax out feet.
